Benedict Medical Centre is a Private Not for Profit and Catholics faith based Organisation. The hospital is a member of Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB). Benedict Medical Centre was founded by a Catholic Missionary and a priest Fr. John Scalabrini (RIP) and Dr. Michael Ochan Kilama (RIP) a Cardiologist and research Doctor. Benedict Medical Centre was foundated to be an adjacent to Bishop Cipriano Kihangire Senior Secondary School and also as a member for the Emmaus Foundation Trust (EFT) which also includes Emmaus Foundation Limited and Fondazione Italia Uganda.
